Connode is the result of more than ten years of development and deployment of large-scale wireless mesh networks. In close cooperation with leading Nordic utilities and suppliers of metering solutions, Connode has developed the concept of radio mesh networking into an industrial grade communication solution for Smart Metering and other demanding M2M applications. Connode enabled electricity meters are now in operation in Sweden, Finland, Norway, U.K. and the Netherlands. By the end of 2012 some 650.000 devices will be in operation.
