Meshnet was chosen by Fortum for installation and operation of 800.000+ meters, as a complement to the main communication technology, P2P GSM.
Currently more than 60.000 Meshnet enabled meters are in operation in various environments stretching from rural areas where meshnet is used when GSM coverage is poor to the city center of Stockholm where meshnet is used in apartments and meter rooms.
